From the olive groves of the Akrotiri Peninsula in Chania, we collect exclusively the fruit of the Koroneiki variety, which is recognised by the International Olive Council as a world heritage variety.
The fruit is transported on the same day from the field to the mill using only plastic boxes and jute sacks, which are carefully placed so as to avoid stacking and ensure adequate ventilation.
The fruit is cold-pressed immediately after harvesting, following specifications that ensure an excellent product.
The result is extra virgin olive oil of superior quality, with high nutritional value, unaltered beneficial ingredients, rich aroma, slightly spicy and fruity flavour.
According to the Rules of Procedure of the European Parliament in Brussels (27 April 2018), organic farming is defined as a comprehensive system of management of agricultural holdings and food production that combines best practices of environmental and climate action, high level of biodiversity, conservation of natural resources, standards that ensure the best quality of life of animals as well as high production standards, which are in line with the growing demand for products produced using natural substances and methods.
